Oriental Crab Cakes
- 1 pound crabmeat, cartilage removed
- 2/3 cup bean sprouts, slightly chopped
- ¼ cup water chestnuts, chopped
- 3 tablespoons scallions, chopped
- 3 tablespoons celery, minced
- 1½ teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 large egg
- about ½ cup bread crumbs or enough to hold together
Mix all ingredients together. Shape into patties and fry until brown.
Makes about 12.
