Back Creek Crab Pie
  • 1 8-ounce package soft cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon chopped onion
  • 3/4 teaspoon Old Bay Seafood Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 pound jumbo lump crab meat
  • crackers
Combine cream cheese, chopped onion and Old Bay; spread on platter. Refrigerate covered with plastic wrap. Then make sauce by mixing remaining ingredients except crab meat and crackers. Spread over cheese. Just before serving, cover cheese and sauce with crab meat. Serve with crackers. Serves 6 to 8.
The use of freshly picked crab meat is a must in this recipe. Just watch it go!
