Lunch Mouth Dungeness Crabwich
  • 1 cup Dungeness crab meat
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • a few grains garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dill seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • buttered bread
Combine first seven ingredients well. Spread big slices of buttered Russian rye bread with mixture for hearty appetites. Or, for open-faced luncheon treats, spread on regular rye, thin slices of pumpernickel or white bread cut into fancy shapes. Yields 1 1/2 cups of crabwich mix.
