Print Maryland crab and seafood recipes from
Mary Ann's Crab Boats
  • 1 cup backfin crab meat
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded apples (optional)
  • 1/2 cup diced green peppers
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
Lightly mix crab meat and mayonnaise. Add salt, pepper, celery, green pepper and apples. Serve it in hollowed out cucumbers. May be served in tomatoes, peppers or crab shells instead of cucumbers.
This recipe is credited to Miss Mary Ann Davis of Marion, MD and was the Cold Plate Winner in the 1963 National Hard Crab Derby in Crisfield, MD.
