Annie's Crab Meat Spread
  • 1 cup backfin crab meat, flaked
  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • dash pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • dash Tabasco
  • paprika
Place all ingredients in blender and mix well. Arrange in small serving bowl, sprinkle with paprika. Chill and serve with crackers, party rye bread or small bread sticks.
This appetizer is easy to make up ahead of time. Serve it as a snack with beverages. It is luscious.
