  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 2 8-ounce blocks of cream cheese
  • 1 pound backfin crab meat
  • Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce to taste
Melt butter in a chafing or fondue dish. Add cheese and let melt, stirring occasionally. Fold in crab meat, add Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce to taste. Serve hot on crackers and melba toast directly from dish. Continue to stir occasionally. Serves 16 to 20.
