Mix mayonnaise, lime juice and red pepper. Add crab meat, 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs, pimientos and green onions. Form into 8 patties and coat in remaining breadcrumbs. Cook patties in butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat 3 minutes per side or until browned and heated through. Serve immediately with Ginger Lime Sauce (recipe below). Serves 4. Ginger Lime Sauce includes 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup sour cream, 1 tablespoon lime juice, 2 teaspoons grated lime peel, 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger. Mix all ingredients. Serve with New Bay Crab Cakes. Makes 3/4 cup.
