Cora's Crab Cakes

  • 1 pound jumbo lump crab meat
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons Kraft mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Jiffy mix or Bisquick
  • 2 tablespoons evaporated milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup cornflake crumbs

Slightly beat egg.

Combine mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Jiffy mix, milk and salt and pepper with egg.

Gently stir in crab meat. Make crab cakes and dredge in cornflake crumbs. Fry in deep fat.
