Private Tent Benefits:
Once again, The Crab Place™ is hosting a private tent at the Crab & Clam Bake. We had a blast last year, and we're looking forward to this year's event. The Crab and Clam
Bake is recognized as one of Maryland's finest seafood festivals. Please join us! Passes for the private tent are an additional $20 per person. You get:
- Guaranteed seating at the event - the event sells out and public seating can be difficult to obtain and keep while you're in line for food.
- Protected seating - it always seems to be 90 degrees that day and not all of the public seating is covered from the sun.
- Extra food and beverages - we will bring several bushels of crabs and a steamer so that we can have hot crabs at the tent. The crabs in the general admission area will be served cold. We will also have sodas and beer available to ease the frustration of waiting in line. This DOES NOT mean that you will never need to get in the general admission line. We'll do all we can to help, but the $40 for general admission goes towards purchasing food from the Crisfield Chamber of Commerce, not us. We bring extras as a courtesy.
- Line runners - we will have several kids in the tent who will run the lines for you. They did a good job last year. Keep in mind that these are not dedicated waiters and you may need to get in the lines yourself. Tipping, of course, is optional.
- Accessories - we will have plenty of plastic silverware, paper towels, butter, vinegar, tablecloths, mallets, seasonings, etc... on hand to make your eating experience as pleasurable as possible.
